Shaun Roberts, Lib Dem Director of Campaigns, visits Suffolk Coastal LD and Waveney LD in Halesworth

On Saturday 9th December, Shaun Roberts (the Liberal Democrats' Director of Campaigns) was the guest speaker at a joint Special General Meeting of Suffolk Coastal Liberal Democrats and Waveney Liberal Democrats, held in Halesworth. Shaun told us about his history in the party, about the party's campaigning in the general election, and about his plans and hopes for our future campaigning. There was a lively question-and-answer session afterwards, which carried on more informally into the excellent buffet lunch, and which touched on issues as varied as media bias and how to get the point across about Brexit without putting people's backs up.
