Brexit Breakfast with Suffolk Coastal Liberal Democrats

Suffolk Coastal Liberal Democrats held a Brexit Breakfast discussion event in Melton on Saturday 25th February, over a delicious breakfast at a comfortable pub. We were delighted with the excellent turnout of members old and new, and we were also joined by some new friends from the Suffolk EU alliance.

Before the discussion passed to the floor, Jon Neal (chairman of SCLD) welcomed everyone, then the current political position was summarised by James Sandbach (pictured: James is our Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, should there be a snap general election in the near future). The exchange of views ranged widely, with some very eloquent contributions from those present. As always in the Liberal Democrats, a full range of perspectives was represented, making the conversation very thought-provoking and worthwhile. We plan to hold further similar sessions in the future, both on this topic and on related issues.
